Intelligent Tool Control (ITC)

A feature of the simplified VPanel operation is an Intelligent Tool Control (ITC) function that instinctively swaps out tools directly from their position when they have reached their user-defined lifespan with a designated “partner tool” without needing to pause production. The ITC has been updated for the DWX-52D to allow for user-defined setup– users can now assign burs in any figuration they want in the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC).

OTHER NECESSARY EQUIPMENT

Before you buy, you'll need a few things.

Dust Extraction System

You will need a dust extraction (vacuum) system with this machine. 

Make sure to get one that meets the following conditions:

  • Static Pressure: 4 kPa or more
  • Air Quantity: 2 m3/min or more

Use the supplied dust collection hose to connect to your system. You should clean your dust collector and replace your filters regularly.

Compressed Air

Compressed air is necessary for this machine. You also need to prepare an air hose to connect the compressor with the regulator.

Make sure to get a compressor that meets the following conditions:

  • Control Pressure: Between 0.3 and 1.0 MPa
  • Air Capacity: 30 L/min or more (for one machine)
  • Oil-Free Type: (To prevent contamination of the compressed air by foreign material.)
  • Dryer-Equipped: (To prevent moist air that can cause rust.)
  • Air Hose: (1) connects the compressor to the regulator.

The air hose must meet the following conditions:

  • Hose Outer Diameter: 6 mm (polyurethane resin tube)
