After registering online, you must install DWINDEX2 on a laptop or PC and update VPanel Software to the latest version for all connected devices.
No. DWINDEX2 is compatible for DWX-52D, DWX-52DC, DWX-52DCi, and DWX-42W milling devices.
MillBox (release 2019 or later) and HyperDENT (release 8.2.3 or later) are compatible with DWINDEX2 Software.
No. You must purchase a camera separately to access the error recording and live screenshot features in DWINDEX2.
DWINDEX2 supports all cameras with resolutions between 640 x 480 pixels and 1280 x 720 pixels.
A separate camera mount with a suction cup must be purchased to mount the camera to the front cover of your milling device. For DWX dry mills, the camera can be mounted on the inside of the device. In addition, a USB extension cable can be used to connect the camera on the mill to the PC operating VPanel Software.
In VPanel Software, access the Mail Panel in settings to setup notifications for your milling device. For additional details, please review the setup guide for your device.
No. Currently, DWINDEX2 is only compatible with Windows OS.
No. DWINDEX2 allows you to view data, reports, and live photos from your milling device. Currently, this software does not allow access to start and stop a job file or maintenance operations.
Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese are supported in DWINDEX2 software.
Yes. The PC operating VPanel Software for your device must be connected to the internet in order to access DWINDEX2 Software remotely.
